Folks I am making a personal appeal for your help as I try to help a friend. None of us knows what it's like to wake up in an emergency room; our clothes all soiled, and not know how we got there. My friend suffers from a seizure disorder and can have one at any time. The last time she had one she was at school, in class and just passed out. She wasn't able to go to work or attend classes for about a week afterwards and lost her job and got a failing grade in her class. Now when she applies for jobs she is afraid to reveal her history of seizures because most employers won’t hire her if they know that she can pass out in front of the kids. (She is a child care worker and an excellent one at that. I know because I was her supervisor for two years,).
